I don't update my blog... I am not sure why i think about it a decent amount. I think that is most likely because i started talking to most people that ever read this on aim. well anyways i will still hop in here and there and give an update.

2009

On a professional level last year i did OK i avged only like 15 hours a week mostly due to taking like 5 months of the summer off.

i ended up playing about 18k sngs and made 65k

4k sngs and 18k of that was in Oct during the epic 9 stuff which i failed to bet the poker brat and got owned in that 50k sng for 0$

all in all 09 was good i ended up making the 60k goal that i had which was fantastic

On a personal note i meet my wife to be last year and will be getting married in early 2011. I have failed at my goals to lose weight however i have not been gaining any so its not all bad.

2010

My money goal is 80k this should be rather easily doable breaking even all year. I made this goal at the start of the year.

My more important goal i made to start the year was +20k in profits from play I'm still not sure how easily i will be able to do this however i am going to work hard to table select this year which will most likely result in a lower avg buy in but hopefully a larger amount of money overall.

As far as the start to my year it has gone insanely well I am having my 2ND 10k month ever 9.5k from play(who woulda thought). I have ran very very well over this time i have about 3k from MTTs and about 6.5k from sngs.

Having this good of a start to my year has made me consider MTTs more obv do to me being a luck box and the fact that the 20k goal is very doable for profits from play.

I also have been avging 40 hours a week so far which i hope to hold around 30-35 hours over the whole year. I also was thinking if i do this make the 20k from play i would like 100k should be rather easy.

Well after bonus and rakeback I'm sitting around +14.5k so far this year more then i ever could hoped for.

new month

Well figured i would throw a little update had a great day yesterday cashed like 1400 ran amazing +like 1kish in eq which puts me only down about 300 in eq on the month according to hm. All in all im playing fewer tables and concentraiting on playing correct and stuff. We will see hopefully i can pount out a lot of sngs and actually get in good for the month.

O and have the 9 person satty to the 50k with phil today hopefully ill get one of those 2 seats

Well figured i would give a little update maybe ill get back to a full one.

Sooooooooo i havent updated because i was actually playing a shit ton of poker.

4565 sngs to be exact.

Was just an insaine month worked 203.8 hours....

All in all there was good things and bad the bad was i made only 352.60 from play lmao. This was mostly due to large volume 10+ tabling ultra tubros that give little time to act and make decisions. However i did have my biggest month ever.

ended up making 17.6k this month... so was pretty fantastic biggest month ever

Most of this was due to the epic 9 promo on ap another reason i didnt make a post most people didnt seem to notice the promo so i took home like 10k in bonus money from this pormo. Plus i am in a tourny with like 8 others for 2 seats into the 50k sng with phil.

anyways money break down went a little like

10410 in bonus and rakerace weekly leaderboards etc

plus350 from play which is LOL

But anyways mostly i didnt get to game select whatsoever which was stupid to do even grinding the promo at first it didnt hurt me but about mid month i slacked some on my play and wasnt game selecting and dropped like 2k in one day.....

This month i had my 4 worst days ever in poker i believe totally around 5k in loses.. about 3k of which was actually supposed to be lost which hurt a lot. But anyways i rallied over my bad play and was supposed to be up for the month.

I hope to work on my game a lil next month and game select a little also and hopefully can get my ev line positive a few K.

New month worst day in forever

well last month was pretty break even i wasnt playing good and knew it so i sat down this month with a new month and a general focus to play good and i have......

BTW sorry for just no blogging i have had a lot going on in life in general and just not playing poker like i should but anyways since june in about a 7 roi and EV wise around 5 so ive ran very well but gotten in good too even after last month which was horrid i believe i was supposed to have lost like a 1 roi first one of those and first losing month since coaching.

But anyways today was just butal i didnt really tilt and am not which is hard to do when you lose large amounts of money but it was made easier by the fact i was getting in good all day.... Whether i believe truely in using ev as a guildline the simple fact is if i make my little red line go up the green line follows so anyways...

Today i played 62 games and lost 19.5 buy ins... ev wise i lost 30.9 it was so crazy. i ran at a -41.3 roi and got in at a 7.7 roi. Anyways hopefully i can continue to get in that good because the simple fact is over 20k sngs the green line at least follows the red line :).

Well i haven't been playing nearly as much poker I have pretty much taken the summer off. I have regained a lot of sanity and just relaxed in general and stayed busy.

The last of my vacation will be at the end of august when i take a trip down to jackpot for a golf tourney and then onto Vegas for poker and just being a lame tourist with my friend and girlfriend.

Anyways onto poker since i got coached i have ran very well and finally gotten in good over significant sample. The coaching mainly just showed me that i was not thinking my plays threw more then anything.... The coach showed me a few things here and there but nothing really i didn't know which also gave me the confidence back that i was lacking for sure after my 5k down swing back last Jan.

Well i haven't played a ton of poker obviously like i said but i have played some i will post a graph of my July that i never even made a blog update on and a few others.

This is my July graph i obviously ran very well had downswings upswings but got in very well the red lines are the EV graph. ev 8.0 $ 8,1 roi's

Again i have ran very well since June however this is all according to the ev graph which also shows that i have been playing far better. All in all I'm still working on some things but i believe i have finally righted my head and am back to playing very well. Since june ive ran at 11.4 roi and gottin at 7.6 which is as good as i could have ever hoped for....

June was good a little on july

So i have taken most of june off going to try and get back into things some in july but will still be slacking a lot playing lots of golf shot a 92 recently i dont get under 100 massivly so was nice usually in the 99-105 range pretty consistantly.

Anyways june when i played which was little was fantastic i ran good and played very well. Even when i was losing a lot of buy ins hm-ev was saying i was getting in good over those runs!! I ran at 8.1 roi getting in at 8.0 which was a massive insainly good relief thanks mostly to my coach showing how bad i was playing when i know as much about sngs as anyone i just wasnt applying it. Also had stoped studying and learning which is never good and way to easy to do. avg buy in was only 44ish but thats more then fine i dont need to be up on the 109s or higher.

Anyways heres a pic of how i ran which was mostly hot till the end. I also only played 622 sngs when i should be playing like min 2k and probably 3500 LOL but o well.

I still pulled in 4500 or so because of the rake 1k from race cards last 2 months which i was happy to get because i put in very very little volume over the race cards

June no real goals

So my only goal in life in general at the moment is to work out.  For the most part I have been doing something either 30min good work out basketball or golf every day.(bowling today only)

As for poker I'm on one of my first true heaters of the year LOL at least one that I have gotten in fairly well also.  I've wont 2k here and there but for the most part i was still getting in at like 1-2 roi.

I got some coaching from one of the best 6max players online and realized i know almost everything that i should be doing in poker... Almost he has shown me some things and has me doing a couple little things to fine tune things.  For the most part my issue in poker is not taken 5-10 seconds to look at a table before i act.   Missing a little easy push here and there or just not seeing something.

For the most part my month has been a small sample only 220 sngs but I am at least back on track and have my confidence back which is half the battle.

I'm obvoiusly running good also but im getting in (according to HM's EV) at near 11 roi.
